There are plenty of checkout solutions out there, but none that work quite like Bolt does. The only problem—Bolt’s branding failed to set itself apart from all the others. Straight up, it was pretty boring.

So our internal creative team enlisted the help of the powerhouse branding agency, Koto, to reimagine Bolt’s identity from the ground up. The end result was an award-winning redesign that captured the industry’s attention and gave Bolt a new bold and playful space to play in

As the copy CD overseeing this project (and at a company with no UX team), I not only helped organize the site infrastructure, but I also lead our team of copywriters in pinpointing our new tonal direction and revamping how we speak about ourselves. We teamed up with Koto to put together a robust set of brand guidelines.
